Cross River is a leader in cross-cultural learning experiences. For over 20 years, we have helped people and organizations understand the importance of knowledge stemming from outside settler-colonial traditions. Our work has impacted practices in organizations such as Alberta University of the Arts, Fort Calgary National Historic Site, and Deppon Logistics in China. We have also collaborated on and hosted transformative leadership retreats with other changemakers, edgewalkers, and positive deviants such as McKinsey & Company, the Wolf Willow Institute, and the Trico Changemakers Studio at Mount Royal University.
This retreat is for tourism industry workers in the Rockies who want to learn about how their work relates to Indigenous histories and realities.
This is an immersive day-long workshop designed for professionals who want to learn about and craft effective land acknowledgements.
This retreat is designed for leadership teams looking for help with reconciliation, decolonization, and land acknowledgement practices in the Rockies, Columbia Valley, and southern Alberta.
We work with you to create an enriching retreat for your group that draws from our experience and extensive network of skilled facilitators.
