Cabin Accommodations

remote cabins and retreat hosting

We have eight guest cabins that are all pieces of Rocky Mountain history. They were originally built in the early 20th century in Yoho National Park to help encourage tourism to the Canadian Rockies. In the early 1990s, we relocated the cabins to their current sites and refurbished them, paying careful attention to retaining their original heritage charm.

Today, each cabin is tastefully decorated in its own Canadian theme. The decor features items from our own family history and handcrafted furniture made by us. There is a forest cabin, a rancher’s cabin, a Victorian settler cabin, a wildlife cabin, a birder’s garden cabin, a rural country house cabin, a fishing and canoeing cabin, and a Métis trapper’s cabin. They are interspersed amongst the trees near the main lodge.
